Dividend and ACR

The Reserved Capital Increases for Employees (ACR) make it possible for the Group’s international employees to subscribe to Crédit Agricole SA shares directly.

When Crédit Agricole SA pays a dividend:

  • Withholding tax is levied in France;
  • The net amount is paid to you by bank transfer, or by cheque if you have not provided your bank details in your Shareholder’s Area.

Important

  • Remember to provide your bank details in your Shareholder’s Area;
  • Refer to the Country Data Sheet for more about local taxation on the dividend (Documentation section).

Dividend payment date:

Initially, on the ex-dividend date, the dividend is separated from the share to which it was attached.

A few days later, it is paid to shareholders who owned shares on the detachment date, according to the number of shares they held.

Did you know?

Dividends are paid immediately, without a lock-in period, even if the shares are still locked in.

For example, if you have subscribed to the ACR 2025, your shares are locked in until May 2030, but the dividend paid by Crédit Agricole S.A. in 2025 will be paid to you as from the end of May 2025, without having to wait for the shares to be unlocked.
